County Administrator - Solano County, CA

Along with having the typical responsibilities of the chief executive of a California county, the County Administrator will have the exciting opportunity, along with updating the General Plan, to address current and future development projects, annexations, economic development, and the financial and capital infrastructure needed for the County’s long-term stability and sustainability. Additionally the County Administrator will focus on labor contract negotiations, and health and human services programs. To be considered, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree. The preferred candidate also has a Master’s degree and experience working with elected officials as a Chief Executive, Assistant/Deputy Chief Executive or Department Head in a county and/or city of comparable size and complexity. The salary will be determined based on the experience and qualifications that you bring to Solano County. The current annual salary is $335,036, and the County provides an excellent benefit package.
